Paul Bledsoe lectures on environmental policy at American University. John Shanahan, civil engineer, advocates for plentiful energy from fossil fuels, hydro and nuclear: This article in the New York Times at the end of 2018 by Paul Bledsoe is a collection of all the past catastrophic man-made global warming announcements. John Shanahn views the world through the reality of a civil engineer's visison and sees a world with climate in normal past range. He sees a beautiful world, made better by fossil fuels, hydro and nuclear.

Joshua Goldstein, emeritus professor of international relations and Staffan Qvist, Dept. of Physics and Astrophysics, Uppsala University, Sweden: Their article claims that the world only has 30 years to completely stop using fossil fuels and completely implement nuclear for all uses that fossil fuels are now used. Purely imaginary.

John Shanahan, civil engineer: Fossil fuels are extremely important for modern living and nearly irreplaceable today for many functions. This is a short article with photos about fossil fuels, nuclear power and the topic of man-made global warming, man-made climate change, man-made sea level rise and claims that some humans can "reverse climate change."

John Shanahan, civil engineer, President of Environmentalists for Nuclear - USA: Here are some mountain memories. Reflect on the importance in modern living for getting out in nature. Think of the fossil fuels that are needed to travel to these places, to build the airplanes, boats and 4-wheel drive vehicles, to manufacture the high tech equipment and clothing, and to produce the freeze dried mountain food. Extreme environmentalists claim they need to save the world from catastrophic, out of control, global warming by insisting that everyone stop using fossil fuels. Don't go to the mountains. What kind of a world will it be with only energy from windmills and solar panels manufactured by the energy from other windmills, etc. And lastly, the materials for the windmills would have to be mined by energy from windmills or use wooden windmills. Other extreme environmentalists claim that the whole world can go nuclear in 50 to 100 years. Do you want to bet you life savings on that? The world desperately needs good government and sound energy planning with fossil fuels and nuclear.
