Calvin Beisner, Cornwall Alliance: This is a review about carbon dioxide concentrations for people and nature with historical notes and photos. The change from 180 ppm to 410 ppm in the last two centuries is small compared to historical variations and easily tolerated by nearly all people. Some people may have trouble with higher levels of CO2, but some people have trouble with more cold, more heat, more humidity, more dryness, etc. It is treacherous for alarmists to claim they can control Earth's climate by raising taxes, carbon dioxide sequestration, stopping use of fossil fuels.
Calvin Beisner, Cornwall Alliance, Gregory Wrightstone, Gregory Wrightstone, geologist who has been investigating the Earth’s processes for more than 35 years. Gregory Wrightstone is the author of the newly published book Inconvenient Facts: The Science That Al Gore Doesn’t Want You to Know. European witch hunts of the 15th to 17th centuries targeted "witches" who were thought to be responsible for epidemics and crop failures related to declining temperatures of the Little Ice Age. A belief that evil humans were negatively affecting the climate and weather patterns was the “consensus” opinion of that time. How eerily similar is that notion to the current oft-repeated mantra that Man’s actions are controlling the climate and leading to catastrophic consequences?
Opportunity to discuss global warming on PBS (Llewellyn King, John Shanahan, Bruno Comby, Calvin Beisner) USofA France30.Jun.2018
Llewellyn King, White House Chronicle, John Shanahan and Bruno Comby, Environmentalists for Nuclear, Calvin Beisner, Cornwall Alliance: This is a discussion of possibilities for a program/series on PBS TV to explore the topic of man-made global warming. The idea would be welcomed by the public. Message 1 is from Llewellyn King. Message 2 is a reply from John Shanahan with suggestions for a program or series. Message 3 is an excellent summary of this topic by Bruno Comby. Message 4 has excellent questions by Calvin Beisner. Don't miss the significance and subtitles of the pictures.
Calvin Beisner, Cornwall Alliance: From all appearances, the data-adjusters at PSMSL are attempting to “correct” the sea level rise data that do not support the conceptualization of a rapidly-rising sea level trend in response to rising human CO2 emissions. “It is always highly questionable to shift data collected in the far past without any proven new supporting material.” Apparently not even tide gauge measurements can be spared from those who tendentiously fiddle with raw data to satisfy an agenda. Alas, “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes,” as Mark Twain is (almost surely mistakenly) alleged to have said. Give this truth a little shove, and maybe it’ll catch and slay the lie.
