Vijay Jayaraj, Research associate, Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation: Climate data from the past contradict the alarmist’s claims that carbon dioxide emissions from human activity have been the primary drivers of global temperatures. Data show that the current warming is not unprecedented but was matched by the Roman Warm Period (roughly 250–400) and Medieval Warm Period (roughly 950–1250). The alarmists’ attitude towards climate change will prove more harmful than beneficial in the long run. Insofar as they prevail, we will become more and more unprepared to face any climatic condition that is contrary to their dubious theories of unprecedented warming.

John Droz is the publisher of "Energy and Environmental Newsletter." Once you’ve grasped the magnitude of the problems with wind, solar, biofuels, etc., you’ll understand why the Russians have put so much effort into promoting US energy policies that are completely nonsensical — to anyone but them. The ONLY solution is to change our energy policies to be Science-based — starting with dumping the absurd “All of the Above” slogan, and replacing it with “All of the Sensible” as a national energy mantra.

Die kalte Sonne, Fritz Vahrenholt, Chemist, Sebastian Luening, Paleogeologist: Pre-industrial temperatures have undergone marked natural variations at every possible time-scale. Definition of an 1850–1900 “pre-industrial” reference level is therefore simplistic and does not do justice to the significant natural dynamics of the pre-industrial temperature development. Unfortunately, key reports on the climate limits refer to the pre-industrial temperature as if it had been static during past millennia.

Paul Driessen, senior policy analyst for the Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow: Eco-activists will inflict far more damage on environmental values than do the technologies they despise. Their “solutions” to alleged ecological “problems” will turn billions of acres into wind and solar farms, biofuel plantations, hydroelectric projects, and mines for materials needed for wind turbines, solar panels, batteries and other “clean, green, renewable” energy alternatives. We need to muster enough science, intellectual rigor and freedom of speech to prevent more deaths in the name of “environmental justice.

Paul Driessen, senior policy analyst for the Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow: The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and dominant, government-funded climate research have gone from seeking to identify human influences on Earth’s climate … to decreeing that only human influences matter, natural forces no longer play a meaningful role, and humans can control climate and weather by eliminating fossil fuels and regulating atmospheric greenhouse gas levels. Those assertions now have the unwavering support of an entire industry – the $1.5-trillion-per-year Climate Industrial Complex: politicians, regulators, researchers, industrialists and activists, who protect and advance alarmist claims, promote allegedly “renewable” energy, resist examination and reform, and denounce anyone who questions climate chaos orthodoxy as “planet-threatening climate change deniers.”

Mikko Paunio, MD, MHS, specialist in public health and epidemiology: Efforts by extreme environmentalists will kill millions in poor countries. Domestic combustion of solid (bio)fuels is by far the number one global pollution problem, attributable to indoor air pollution (IAP). The so called 'energy ladder' was introduced to understand how deaths from IAP might be prevented. The energy ladder seeks to reproduce the experience of rich countries, where households moved away from biofuels and connected to electric grids or district heating systems, solving the IAP problem for good. Extreme environmental organizations resist improving the lives of poorer people because it would increase use of fossil fuels and their carbon footprint.

Don Bogard, isotopic and nuclear geochemistry: Today, when many are concerned about the Earth possibly over-heating through greenhouse warming, it is worthwhile to look into the not very distant past when the Earth over-cooled. Most people have heard of the Ice Age but probably know very little about it. Some may remember climate scientists in the 1970s expressing concern that Earth may be entering a new ice age, because of growing evidence that Earth was cooling (in spite of growing atmospheric carbon dioxide of CO2). What was the ice age, why did it occur, and is it now in our past, or also in our future?

John Shanahan, President of Environmentalists for Nuclear - USA: Since the 1970s certain people have been blaming mankind for most extreme weather events, changes in the weather, global warming, global cooling, climate change and climate disruption. They have gone one giant step further by claiming that they can "reverse climate change"! That means that when the climate gets warmer than their designated ideal, they can cool it and when it gets colder, they can warm it. Humans have never "reversed climate change" and almost certainly never will. But it is a quick start to a new climate cult.
